At 3440m above sea level, the Pitztal Glacier is the highest glacier ski resort in Austria and offers guaranteed snow from September until May. The Pitztal Glacier has around 20km of pistes, mostly suited to intermediate and advanced skiers, with a boardercross course and a snow park with halfpipe.

Carving fans will appreciate the wide glacier runs at the Pitztal Glacier, while cross-country skiers can explore the network of high-alpine cross-country trails. Here you’ll find the highest cafe in Tyrol, the “3440”, with breathtaking panoramic views of over fifty 3000m mountain peaks from the floating viewing platform. For a ski touring challenge, hire a mountain guide and tackle the journey up the Wildspitze, the highest mountain in Tyrol at 3774m. The Pitztal Glacier is connected to the family-friendly Rifflsee ski resort.
