Good off-piste skiing
Nature has granted Les Orres many excellent qualities; in particular a celestial sky and mediterranean sun. The snow is dry and powdery on the slopes in Les Orres, very much like snow conditions found in the Rocky Mountains. Les Orres is a modern ski resort that has a special atmosphere: visitors are welcomed with enormous cordiality, that immediately makes them feel at home.
The ski area in Les Orres offers over 100km of ski slopes with a surprisingly varied range of skiing with something for every level. Beginners and intermediates are particularly spoilt here with many nursery slopes at altitude, meaning beginners are treated to good snow conditions and get a proper feel of what the mountain is all about. The wide, gentle blue runs in Les Orres encourage beginners to make progress quickly to join the rest of the skiers on the mountain. Experts are not particularly spoilt for choice in Les Orres, however, there are some wonderful off-piste trails and a few black runs.
