Liftverbund Feldberg – Seebuck/Grafenmatt/Fahl is the largest ski area in the Black Forest, and if the snowfall is abundant, this is one of the most charming ski areas in the Black Forest. In fact, the region surrounding the mountain of Feldberg boasts a long skiing history, with the first recorded skiers arriving as early as 1891.
Today, this resort is a favourite for families thanks to its panoramic views and good variety of pistes, including a terrain park suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers. The area is also quite popular for cross-country skiing and there is a great variety of runs suitable for ski mountaineering, even on ungroomed snow. A plethora of mountainside restaurants, coupled with kid’s facilities and two ski schools, make this the perfect well-rounded resort for a family holiday. Feldberg has been busy installing new high-speed lifts in the last few years and it will be exciting to follow the evolution of the ski resort in future.
