The Eisacktal ski area is situated close to the motorway making it very easy to reach. Each resort in this area has managed to keep its old center intact. Bressanone is more suitable to those who like to ski until sunset, while Maranza is a favourite for those in search of peace and quiet. The main ski resort here is Brixen which is a beautiful medieval town packed with charm and tradition. The lifts in the Eisacktal ski area are well planned and guarantee an optimal use of the runs.
There are nearly 90km of ski slopes in this ski area with a particularly high number of red runs means this is paradise on snow for intermediate skiers. On the south-facing ski slopes, there are a number of sunny terraces from which you can admire the stunning mountain scenery. There are also excellent possibilities for off-piste lovers with regular fresh snowfalls and some challenging descents.
