Ski area Kandersteg

Kandersteg can be easily reached by car or train as it is conveniently located at the beginning of the Mount Lötsch tunnel pass, where two small ski areas are located. On the east side of the village a chair lift takes skiers to Oschinen, right to its lakeside position, where there are mostly easy to medium ski slopes. The Sunnbühl ski area - located on the west side of the village at a slightly higher altitude - can be easily reached by cable car. In total there are just over 10 kilometres of ski slopes adapted for those with less risky skiing tastes.
