Ski area Region Ybrig

This truly tiny ski resort, almost in miniature, very peaceful and secluded, has runs which descend through a beautiful alpine landscape. Oberibrig is one of Switzerland's oldest thermal spa resorts and has not been affected at all by tourist invasions. This means nature here has remained untouched, and the village has conserved its traditional beauty. The annual Roggenstock derby, which is one of the most exciting snow sport competitions in Switzerland, takes place in this area. The ski area is quite varied, with 10km of very difficult runs. When it snows, the 10km of slopes can suddenly become 100km.
